Why Do We Do What We Do?
We investigate paranormal occurances in an attempt to furthur the field of paranormal investigation using scientific as well as forensic methods not unlike a criminal investigator would investigate a crime scene. We interview clients as a criminal investigator would interview a crime victom. We collect evidence, both audio and video and analyze that evidence in order to come to a conclusion as to whether there is paranormal activity in a building or residence or not. We go into an investigation actually trying to disprove the existence of paranormal activity. If we are left with evidence that we cannot disprove then, and only then will we consider a place "haunted." Even then it takes an enormous amount of evidence to come to that conclusion.
We do not rely on psycics or mediums to come to any conclusion. We do not wish to demean anyone with that ability. In fact, two of our team members are "sensitives" and have been proven right more times that not. Their ability to sense the presence of spirit activety is only a tool to tell us where to look. We sitll only rely on evidence that can be presented to a client in audio or video format. Personal experiences during an investigation are considered only if there is other evidence to corroberate that experience.
The "holy grail" that all paranormal investigators are looking for is the full body apparition. We have seen this only once but were unable to document it and therefore could not present it as evidence. It was sitll enough to satisfy our investigators that this house was haunted. (Enough to send one apprentice investigator out of the house, refusing to return) Anyone whom has encountered spirit activity in their home really has no need to fear what they have experienced. After all, there are more dead on this earth than living. Though unsettling as an encounter can be, I know of no one that has actually been harmed by an apparition. We have the belief that if an apprarition has the ability to do physical harm then that enters an entirely different realm that we admittedly are not equipted to deal with. This is when we enlist the help of certain clergymen. More will be added on this topic at a later date.
Our Organization is completely non profit and is funded solely by team members. Our services are 100% free of charge. It is our belief that no ethical investigative team ever charges for their services. Our reward is the evidence which we may collect and most of all to give our client peace of mind. Should any of our team ever solicit any funds they have broken our team rules and violated our societys charter and will be dealt with accordingly. All members carry picture IDs and a list of team members can be provided to prospective clients upon request. We feel that without a professional code of ethics we have not progressed beyond the carnival sideshow mindreaders of 100 years ago.
